Police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old woman in the South of Tenerife.
The victim’s body was found by her husband at the couple’s home in Atogo, Granadilla.
According to the police there appeared to be no signs of violence, adding that the woman may have died of natural causes.
The victim’s body has been transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Santa Cruz where an autopsy will be performed to establish the cause of death.
The couple are of German origin and have lived in Granadilla for the past 10 years.
