Three fishermen had to be rescued after being cut off by the tide while fishing off rocks near to the beach at Tachero in Anaga.
Emergency services managed to bring two of the men to the safety of the beach. However a helicopter was dispatched to rescue the third man who was in a very isolated area, unreachable by land or sea.
All three men are said to be fit and well following their ordeal, though, probably, a little embarrassed.
