The film crews for the sixth instalment of the Fast & Furious movie series, which has already been filming in the streets of London, is set to arrive in the Canary Islands on September 10th, for about 5 weeks shooting in Tenerife and Fuerteventura.
Director Justin Lin was on the island in July to inspect the various locations where Fast & Furious 6 will burn rubber, among which are the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz in the north.
The 400 strong crew are bringing 100 vehicles with them, including four WW2 tanks (three authentic and one replica).
Fast and Furious 6 will début in cinemas on May 24, 2013 in the United States, with a star line up of actors; Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, who are joined in this sixth movie by Luke Evans, Joe Taslim, Gina Carano and with an, as yet unconfirmed, appearance by the singer Rihanna.
