A flight for Madrid from Los Rodeos North Tenerife airport was delayed this morning when the captain aborted take-off, after cabin crew reported problems with a drunk on board.
The plane taxied back to the airport buildings, where Civil Guard officers arrested a 36-year-old man who is accused of putting the safety of the aircraft at risk by being inebriated.
The aircraft finally took off again 35 minutes later.
