Photograph The Almond Blossom In Santiago del Teide

There’s still time to submit your work for the 16th annual Santiago del Teide Almond Blossom photographic competition.

There are no restrictions on where you are from as long as you are over 18-years-old and are not a professional photographer.

However your photograph must be of Almond Blossom and has to have been taken anywhere in Santiago del Teide county.

February 25, at 12:00 pm, is the deadline for submission and each contestant may submit up to two photos.

Entries must be given an appropriate title, record the place where the photo was taken and be properly framed behind glass.

They can be in colour or black and white, with a minimum size of  40 cm x 30 cm .

In addition, contestants must submit a digital  JPG copy of the photo with a resolution of not less than four megapixels or the negative if using traditional film.

You should  attach a separate sealed envelope containing the author’s details (name, age, DNI,  NIE, or passport number, nationality, address, contact telephone number and if you wish an email address.) The outside of the envelope should also record the title of the work.

The winners will be announced on March 15 and cash prizes of 300, 200 and 150 euros awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd places.
