A 42-year-old man has died following a vicious attack in Tenerife’s capital, Santa Cruz.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in the Plaza de La Candelaria at around 9.30 pm last night following a call from a member of the public.
The victim was stabilised at the scene before being rushed, in a critical condition, to the nearby University hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police say they are investigating the incident but, as yet, have released no details of the victim’s identity or the circumstances, which led to his death.
