Thanks this week go to…….
All who were involved, and who supported our event last Wednesday the 3rd October at Restaurant Maria, El Nautico Suites, Golf del Sur to raise money for our dogs in the Fasnia refuge. A great night’s entertainment was hosted by Suzy q, with Aidy Evans, Andy Phillips, Michaela, Ian Anderson, Tanya Tevaro, and Colin Stevens giving their free time to help. Owner Patricia Dojorti and her staff worked very hard to provide a fantastic buffet at cost price, which meant €630 was raised for the dogs. This is going to provide medicines and instruments for the clinic so that our in house vet, Cesario Bertoldi can carry out many procedures on site. Live Arico P.A.W.S. are proud to announce that from this month we will be paying for all vet care for the Fasnia dogs. Thanks to everyone who came and supported this event.
Upcoming Events
On the 9th November we will be raising funds on the Top Square, Golf del Sur, to finance the vet care of a very special lady called Bess. Bess is just a year old, abandoned on Golf del Sur recently with a debilitating leg injury, which we have pledged to sort out. Cruelly, her leg was broken at the shoulder several months ago and left to mend itself. This now must be corrected so that Bess can have the mobility that she deserves. Come and see us.
Dogs to the UK have Gone!!!!!!!
Following the success of the Movie Musical Madness event held in Coral Mar Square, Silencio in August, Live Arico PAWS are pleased to inform all that gave up their time and those who came to support on the day that the 6 dogs have now arrived safely in the UK and are with their forever families. Thanks must go to Alice and Mark at Poochies, Sharon Edens, and Linda Smethurst for fostering these dogs, and to all within, and outside of Live Arico who begged borrowed and sweat blood and tears to get these dogs away. We thank you from our hearts.
It’s raining puppies……..
We have so many puppies to rehome. With Live Arico’s help a litter of very young pups were rescued from the Guaza mountain wild pack and are being hand fed by the lovely Sarah Wilson until they are old enough to be adopted. For photos please check our Facebook page.
On top of this, a litter of four pups were dumped on Amarilla Golf last week. The official channels could not help, in the end Live Aricos Linda went to collect them, and they are in her home. They will be big, but they are stunning dogs, again, see our Facebook page for up to date photos. If you can offer a permanent, loving home to any of these pups, please call Sue on 629 388102. €70, payable at Hospivet Sur, will supply the pups with vaccinations, Chip and passport.
