THANKS THIS WEEK GO TO:-

All involved in the joint fundraiser with the K9 Refuge last Saturday, the 26th, at the Top Square, Golf del Sur. Hosted by Suzy Q there were many entertainers giving their time, including Colin Stevens, Robbie Dominic, Dave Ferry, Big Chris and the lovely Jan Monroe. A sponsored chest wax went on in Slippers bar swelling the funds. A fantastic €610 was raised for the two refuges, which is brilliant in these hard times. Well done all.

We also thank the group who organised the Fiesta this month in El Rancho, Palm Mar. Unfortunately, due to some communication breakdown, we know that some of our supporters were not happy with the event, as it was not what they were expecting. It is always strange when a third party offers to host a fundraiser, especially when our key people cannot be there to oversee events due to work commitments, but the event was staged with a good heart, and €200 was raised for our dogs. We apologise whole heartedly to anyone disappointed with the event, and hope you will continue to support our regular fundraisers. It is important to us that our fundraisers are enjoyed by all, but not always 100% possible to ensure.

ANOTHER FOOD DROP

…..will take place this Saturday from 11am to 2pm, again at Hospivet Sur Las Chafiras and the car park up from MacDonalds at Gran Sur Costa Adeje. We collected just over 1000 kgs last time and we will continue this through the summer when the shops are quiet. Please if you can spare a bag of food please do. A 20 kg bag from Mercadona is €10.99, but there are smaller, cheaper bags, and anything is welcome. We hope to see you there. Many thanks.

HOW TO SURVIVE THE CRISIS – COME TO OUR SHOPS FOR THE BEST BARGAINS

Lastly, dont forget our original shop in Costa del Silencio, where Claudia and Aziz are there to assist you. Open 11 – 5pm Monday to Saturday.
