Update 11pm: Santiago del Teide councillor Oliver Socas reported on his facebook page that the fire front which was heading in the direction of Santiago del Teide county is now stabilised.

The following roads remain closed – the T38 from just above the Las Estrellas Restaurant on the Boca Tauce Road.
The authorities are emphasising that no member of the public should attempt to access the closed roads.
Inhabitants of Vilaflor still have some time to wait before they will be allowed back to their homes, but those who live in Taucho and Quinto are safe to return.
