Fiestas Los Cristianos 3-7 September

Fiestas in Los Cristianos in honour of Our Lady of Carmen 2009, 03 tol 07 september 2009.

Thursday, September 3rd.

21:00. At the fairground, Grand Seniors Gala with various activities.
Friday, September 4.
• 21:30 pm. At the fairground, Grand Youth Gala and election of the Queen of Fiestas del Carmen Los Cristianos 2009, with vaious activities.
• 00:00 pm. At the fairground, Open air dance to the sounds of the Arguayo Big Dance Band Orchestra
Saturday 5 September.
• 11:00 pm. In Los Cristianos Harbour  Childrens playground with bouncy castles and fun foam party.
• 16:00 pm. At Los Cristianos Beach, soccer match between the singles and the married people & sack race for the small and not so small , Children’s bicycles at the old pier.
• 17:00 pm. At the fairground, Child Tour 2009 (Magic show, balloon blowing, … etc) Fun for children with the collaboration of Mutua Tinerfeña.
• 18:00. Los Cristianos beach,  Traditional pursuits for  the young and young at heart,

The Salpicon (basically consists of throwing water over all participants but following the committee rules ).
• 20:00. At the fairground, Youth concert with several resident DJs.
• 23:00. Grand Open Air Dance.
Sunday 6 September.
• 11:00 pm. Los Cristianos beach, swimming championship, children, youths and adult categories.
• 13:00 pm. Los Cristianos, Traditional pursuits for  the young and young at heart, traditions like “ducks to water”, Climb the greased pole and Catch the greased pig.
• 20:00. Land and sea procession passing through the various streets of Los Cristianos, starting from the Nuestra Señora Virgen del Carmen parish church until arrival at the dock and subsequent embarkation for the sea crossing and followed by a FIREWORKS  display by Los Hermanos Toste.
• 24:00. Grand Open Air Dance with sounds by Sensation Gomera Orchestra

Monday, September 7.
• 18:00. Los Cristianos beach, Boat racing.
• 21:00 pm. Opposite the Casa del Mar, “Fishermen’s food”
• 23:00. At the fairground, Grand Farewell Dance to the sounds of the Sensation Gomera Orchestra .
