A cyclist died in La Palma yesterday after crashing into a wall.
The freak accident happened at around 8.30 pm when the 29-year-old man lost control of his cycle and crashed into the wall on the Arocha road in Los Barros.
The victim, sustained severe head injuries and went into cardiac arrest. Despite their best efforts, medics were unable to revive him and he was declared dead at the scene.
