Two people died on Monday after their car plunged into a barranco in Güímar.
The victims, a man and a woman who have yet to be officially identified, died in the accident at the Barranco de Los Pelados.
An emergency helicopter was dispatched to the scene but medics could only confirm both victims dead after recovering the bodies.
