Tomorrow, Thursday November 1, is All Saints Day and a Bank Holiday throughout Spain.
It is traditionally the day when thousands of Spaniards head for the cemeteries where their loved ones are buried, placing flowers on the graves and spending time in contemplation.
However, besides being a time for reflection, many celebrate the life that was and, being Spanish, make the whole affair a day out, often taking a picnic.
Nevertheless, if the appalling weather in the islands continues into tomorrow , the visit to the cemetery is likely to be a far less leisurely affair than normal this year.
