    Bumper Easter For Canary Islands?

The Canary Islands’ tourist sector is expecting, what will be in today’s economic climate, a bumper Easter.

Tourist bosses say they expect occupancy rates of around 80 per cent and say that figure could go even higher, as more and more people leave their travel plans to the last minute and book online.

Cold and unpredictable weather across the Mediterranean recently will, hopefully, also help, as people chose the warmer climes of the Canaries above those of Mainland Spain and the Balearics.
