Jacknifed Lorry Causes Chaos In South Tenerife
There was chaos on the TF-1 near Las Chafiras in the south of Tenerife yesterday evening, after an articulated lorry jacknifed and spilled its load, blocking the northbound carriageway.
Though no one was injured, the accident left motorists fuming and frustrated as they sat in a traffic jam which, at one point stretched back for more than a kilometre.
The road also leads to Tenerife’s south airport and several people are reported to have missed their flights after being caught up in the chaos.
