The Guardia Civil have opened an investigation following the death of a 46-year-old man in Tenerife.
The victim died after being hit by a truck while working on a farm in the Arico area in the south of the island.
According to members of the emergency services, called to the scene, the impact was such that the victim died on the spot.
No further details have so far been released.
