WE NEED A VAN!!!!

…on a rent to buy basis. We are really struggling to do collections of bulky items, and having the many kilos of dog poo taken to PIRS is an added cost we could eliminate if we had our own van. THE LIVE ARICO DISCOUNT CARD SCHEME

….is well under way, and we hope to have it rolling by the end of this month. There are already 20 businesses offering discounts to our members. We are looking for more, so if your business can offer something, 10% discount in a restaurant for example, please call Suzy on the number below. We think that its a win win. We catch more members, businesses get clients they might not have had. Our existing members will soon receive their card for 2012. ADOPTION PROCEDURES.

Live Arico´s policy is to ask for a minimum donation of €70 for an adopted dog, which is paid direct to Hospivet Sur on collection of your new pet, who will as a result be chipped, vaccinated with anti rabies and V7 vaccine and issued with a passport. From this amount a small proportion is used to reduce our debt with Hospivet. If your pet already has been vaccinated, or chipped, we still charge €70 and obviously then a larger amount is paid off our account. This is in line with other refuges who charge an adoption fee. Hospivet also offer flea & worm treatments from €11 for a months cover of Advocate, and will discuss neutering & spaying options with you. We highly recommend this surgery who work tirelessly for Live Arico at hugely discounted rates, and cannot praise their dedication to our animals enough.
